| Belfast is one of 10 UK cities to successfully bid for funding, made available by the Department of Culture Media and Sport, to become a Super-Connected City with ultrafast fixed broadband access and extensive high speed wireless connectivity. |

| Many areas of Belfast have access to broadband with speeds of up to 24 Mbps (megabytes per second). This project will provide city wide access to speeds of up to 100Mbps (ultrafast broadband). |

| At this stage, we are guaranteed £6 million and are currently preparing a second submission for additional funding of up to £7.7 million. |
