Active Living clubs
We're working with Age Concern to improve the activities we offer for older people in our leisure centres.
Taking 30 minutes of exercise every day can improve your bones and muscles, reduce your chances of illness and increase your energy levels.
It's also a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
After talking to those who use our centres, as well as those who don't, we've decided to set up Active Living clubs for older people.
We hope to begin the clubs, which will offer activities such as walking, dancing, yoga, chair-based aerobics and bowls, in late 2008.
