The cellar area has been cleverly transformed, enticing you to step back in time and experience Victorian-style narrow, paved streets, shop fronts and gas lights, all of which were common when work on the castle was completed in 1870.

You can enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink in the bar area within the restaurant, which has undergone a make over and is now known as The Castle Tavern.
