Belfast Castle Estate
Situated on the lower slopes of Cave Hill Country Park, the estate
grounds are set amongst parkland and mature mixed woodland and offer superb views of Belfast from a range of vantage points.
They also contain a number of unique features, making them a popular spot for wedding photographs and with walkers, tourists and other visitors.

Castle cats
Belfast Castle Estate contains nine cats and challenges visitors to see if they can spot them all!Some are statues, some are part of the landscape and others can be found sleeping near the water fountain or preening themselves in the foliage. It is also said that, as long as a white cat lives within Belfast Castle, good fortune will come to all who reside there!
Millennium Herb Garden
In 2000, the Cave Hill Conservation Group planted a special herb garden at the rear of Belfast Castle to celebrate the Millennium.The garden, which contains more than 20 herbs such as camomile, coriander, lavender, mint and sage, promotes the benefits of a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
All of the herbs are clearly labelled.
