Types of bins

To encourage you to reduce your waste, we supply a variety of different bins to households in Belfast.

Depending on where you live, we'll provide you with one or more of these bins. For example, you may have a black bin and a kerbside recycling box, or a black bin and a blue bin.

You should try to recycle as much as possible, placing any remaining items in your black bin or taking them to your nearest civic amenity site or recycling centre

Please help us to dispose of your waste properly by placing items in the correct bin. If you don't, we will not be able to pick up your bin because the wrong items can damage our machinery and delay our collection times.
