The Brighter Belfast Awards recognise and reward individuals, groups, schools, organisations and businesses in Belfast who are working hard to make their local environment a brighter, cleaner and greener place.

Projects and initiatives

Anti-litter campaign Anti-litter projects

We aim to make Belfast a cleaner and brighter place to live or visit. We encourage people to dispose of their litter properly.

We want to encourage tourists, shoppers and people who work in the Belfast to stay in the city centre after 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Art makes the city more attractive. We work with local groups and organisations to design art pieces that capture a sense of their community.
