Brighter Belfast Environmental Awards 2010
This year's Brighter Belfast Environmental Awards will take place on 4 November 2010.
Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise and reward individuals, groups, schools, organisations and businesses in Belfast who are working hard to make their local environment a brighter, cleaner and greener place.

Categories
The awards are divided into seven categories:- Clean and Green Award
For individuals, groups or businesses involved in a project to reduce litter and help raise awareness.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Award
For individuals, groups and businesses involved in a project to reduce waste and help raise awareness.
- Schools Environmental Award
For schools involved in an environmental project to reduce waste by raising awareness of environmental issues or improving their local environment.
- Business and Community Partnership Award
For organisations or businesses who have carried out a local environmental improvement programme in partnership with a group, individual or school.
- Nature Conservation Award
For groups, businesses or schools involved in creating or maintaining a wildlife habitat, conservation or garden area which benefits the community.
- Judges' Special Award
For applicants who have gone above and beyond all expectations in promoting and caring for Belfast’s environment.
- Belfast in Bloom Award
