Rev. Robert Bradford play park
We are working in partnership with Urban Villages initiative to develop a new and improved play area at the existing Rev. Robert Bradford Memorial play park, Donegall Pass.
We want the new play park to have:
- Comfort and safety - high quality that’s practical, safe and sustainable
- Connectivity - well linked with surrounding neighbourhoods
- Flexibility – a place that can be used throughout the year
We are proposing to look at the existing play park, open space and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) to create a new and exciting play facility. We want to hear your ideas on a range of play park types, to help us develop something special for the area.
The space will provide equipment for children of all ages and abilities, with inclusive play being a key consideration to help ensure social, emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory and communication aspects of play are met.
An upgraded MUGA will offer recreation for a variety of games and outdoor fitness opportunities, while upgraded paths and seating areas will offer a place to rest and enjoy the park.

We recently held public information sessions where members of the public viewed the proposals for the play park and provided feedback. The proposals were also available to view at Donegall Pass Community Centre and Cromac Regeneration Initiative Building until Wednesday 26 April 2017. We also had an online survey that closed on Tuesday 25 April 2017.
