Titanic Quarter

Titanic Quarter has gone from a master plan to reality as a thriving and bustling destination. £358 million has already been invested. Some 15,000 people live, work and study in Titanic Quarter which is now attracting over 1 million visitors every year. It is home to major TV and film productions, leading edge R&D, the world’s largest Titanic visitor attraction and one of Belfast’s most desirable residential waterfront developments.

Titanic Quarter itself will be home to a range of leisure activities. It’s also a short walk from both of Northern Ireland’s leading entertainment venues - the SSE Arena and Belfast Waterfront - which regularly host the globe’s biggest acts.

Given its scale, Titanic Quarter has the ability to reflect the diversity and complexity of modern urban life in its entirety. Including major film productions, leading edge R&D,
financial services, the World’s largest Titanic visitor attraction and Belfast’s most desirable waterfront apartment development – it is an internationally acclaimed, once in a generation investment opportunity.

Around 185 acres of former shipyard lands, on the fringe of Belfast city centre, are being transformed into a new mixed use maritime quarter with a mile of water frontage and a range of investment opportunities.

There are three main elements of this project:

  • Titanic Belfast - a world-class visitor attraction based on Titanic and Belfast shipbuilding and maritime history.
  • Titanic Signature project - the wider scheme in which Titanic Belfast sits, including development of surrounding Titanic-related landmarks, including:
    • Titanic and Olympic slipways
    • Thompson Dry Dock
    • Titanic's Dock and Pump-House
    • Harland and Wolff's former headquarters and drawing offices
    • SS Nomadic
    • Hamilton Dock
  • Titanic Quarter Development - the long term regeneration of the overall area which will cost £7 billion and take until the 2030s to complete.
