Anyone offering cosmetic piercing in Belfast, and the premises they work from, must be registered with us under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1985

This refers to any piercing of the body, including ears.

It costs £25 to register a cosmetic business with us. This includes businesses offering acupuncture, cosmetic piercing, electrolysis, semi-permanent skin colouring or tattooing. All premises must be within the Belfast City Council electoral area.
