We've produced a resource efficiency pack which gives you some simple tips to get you started as well as suggestions about where you can get more detailed information and advice. It also includes case studies about organisations that are already managing their resources efficiently.- Download the resource efficiency pack (PDF - 5.5MB)
- Environmental audit tool (Word - 160KB) - This tool will allow you to identify areas where savings could be made and highlight environmental benefits.
- Monitoring matrix tool (Word - 120KB) - This tool will help you monitor how successful your environmental improvements have been.
What can we do for you?
We can provide free advice and assistance to any business, large or small, in the Belfast area. Our services include:- Resource efficiency pack
- Tools to help you check your current processes, make improvements and monitor their financial and environmental impact
- A sign-posting service to link your business with key agencies that can help you identify how to cut costs
- Face-to-face advice at a dedicated clinic held every Friday between 9.30am and 4pm in the Advice Centre, Wellington Place, Belfast
- A Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) accredited Waste Awareness Course. This course aims to provide employees with the knowledge and information to help your company minimise waste, save money and stay within the law.
To book a place on our next available Waste Awareness Certificate course, please email us at businessefficiency@belfastcity.gov.uk. We can accommodate an average of 10 people per course. If there is a group of 10 from one organisation we can deliver the course to you at your premises.
