Environmental Product Development Programme (EPDP)

The Environmental Product Development Programme will recruit six small environmental businesses and support them to develop new environmental products, engaging with the research base and putting innovation at the centre of their business plans.

The programme will facilitate the introduction of a systematic approach to new product development which will lead to a subsequent improvement in competitive advantage, business performance and growth.

EDPD is aimed at small businesses in the Belfast City Council area that are not Invest NI clients.

The programme will aim to foster a spirit of innovation and enterprise within a key growth sector and also a sector which looks set to withstand the brunt of the current economic difficulties.
