Belfast Enterprise Academy 2011 - 2012
The Belfast Enterprise Academy is a programme for degree students living in the Belfast area that would like to become entrepreneurs. In the academy you will meet other entrepreneurs, visit successful businesses and learn how to be innovative business people. You don't need to have a specific business idea at this stage, just have an interest in running your own business.
It will be the first step towards your own successful enterprise!
What will you get out of the programme?
- Meet real entrepreneurs from different fields and will have the chance to ask them questions and get advice.
- Learn how to overcome some of the biggest challenges for new entrepreneurs.
- Get access to some of the most dynamic business environments in the country and see first hand what makes a business work.
What the programme entails
- Residential business challenge.
- Workshop sessions on making business work.
- One-to-one mentoring with expert business mentors.
- Best practice visits to successful businesses across Ireland.
- A bespoke business action plan.
- Signposting to further business support.
Criteria
You must:- live in Belfast
- be studying for a degree
- have an interest in running your own business
- be available for all the sessions.
There are twenty places available on the programme which will take place on Wednesdays over 9 months.
