Creativity Thirst
About this project
The Creativity Thirst project addresses the gap in business start-up readiness at entry level in the creative sector. It will allow those with the necessary potential to explore options, test and weigh risks, refine vision, gain IT and presentation proficiency and apply these skills to talent and expertise they have already acquired.
This will enable talents to be successfully married with entrepreneurship, production and enterprise which will in turn impact on our local economy.
The main aim of the programme is to enable 12 entry-level participants to develop a full business plan, a portfolio, including IT presentations and promotional material of their craft and skills and receive guidance from their mentor. This will prepare and equip them to actively engage with a local or global economy.
The programme will actively seek participation from across all parts of the city and will create a learning environment respective of diversity in all its forms.
The programme is aimed primarily at those who are seeking to initiate or move into business within the creative industries and who live in the Belfast area.
