Partners Against Grime competition
Nineteen primary schools from across Belfast took part in our competition to design a new sidekick for Captain Cleanup. Pupils were asked to draw, make or paint their characters, or use a computer to create a 'partner against grime' to help keep the streets of Belfast tidy.
All the entrants supplied a short article explaining how their characters would help Captain Cleanup keep Belfast clean. Our staff also visited schools to deliver an anti-litter workshop, with Captain Cleanup himself making a surprise appearance!
