Keeping fit is essential to the Choose n Move programme.
Physical activity is vital for good health - it helps prevent disease, boost wellbeing, increase fitness and improve quality of life.
It is recommended that children do an hour of moderate activity every day.
This can include:
- walking
- playing at school or at home
- cycling
- dancing
- team sports
- swimming
- ice-skating
- trampolining.

Leisure centres
We manage ten leisure centres across Belfast.They offer a wide range of facilities including 25-metre swimming pools, outdoor pitches, tennis courts, climbing walls and specially designed gyms for children.
And, with our Boost leisure membership scheme, under 16s and students in full-time education can get unlimited access to our facilities from £11.30 per month.
