Belfast City Hall has reopened after a massive £11 million refurbishment project. The iconic building had been temporarily closed from October 2007 to October 2009. Find out about:

Access information
Access to Belfast City Hall is via the front entrance on Donegall Square North, the side entrance on Donegall Square East (beside the Belfast Wheel) and the back gate at Donegall Square South.News and events
Time capsule
A time capsule – containing items that will be meaningful to future generations – has been buried inside Belfast City Hall.
Renovations to City Hall included replacing heating, mechanical and electrical systems, asbestos removal, drainage improvements, re-roofing and installing computer network systems.
City Hall artwork commission
We are looking for an artist to create a new piece of artwork which reflects local Irish history and heritage.
The Bobbin coffee shop
Our coffee shop sells a range of food and drinks. There is also an exhibition about Belfast's industrial heritage.
