Belfast City Hall has reopened after a massive £11 million refurbishment project. The iconic building had been temporarily closed from October 2007 to October 2009. Find out about:

Access information
Access to Belfast City Hall is via the front entrance on Donegall Square North, the side entrance on Donegall Square East (beside the Belfast Wheel) and the back gate at Donegall Square South. If you are taking part in one of our Saturday tours, please use the back gate entrance only.News and events
The Bobbin coffee shop
Our coffee shop sells a range of food and drinks. There is also an exhibition about Belfast's industrial heritage.
Time capsule
A time capsule – containing items that will be meaningful to future generations – has been buried inside Belfast City Hall.
Re-imaging Communities exhibition
Our Re-imaging Communities Project has helped to create 20 public artworks across Belfast during the past year. You can view photos and find out more about the project at this exhibition.
Renovations to City Hall included replacing heating, mechanical and electrical systems, asbestos removal, drainage improvements, re-roofing and installing computer network systems.
