The Belfast Wheel

Big Wheel at Belfast City Hall Belfast has its own version of the London Eye.

Located at the east side of Belfast City Hall, the structure offers spectacular views across the city from a height of 200 feet.

About the Belfast Wheel

The Wheel of Belfast will operate until November 2008.

The opening times are:
Each observation journey lasts approximately 12 minutes and each capsule can carry up to eight people.

It is operated by World Tourist Attractions in association with the Department for Social Development

Dates the Belfast Wheel is closed

The Belfast Wheel will be closed on the following dates and times:

Tuesday 1 July 2008 at 11am
Commemoration ceremony of the Battle of the Somme in Garden of Remembrance, City Hall. Wheel will be closed until 2.30pm.

Sunday 17 August 2008 at 11am
Burma Star Association will march past City Hall and there will be a wreath-laying in the Garden of Remembrance. Wheel will be closed until 2.30pm.

Monday 3 November 2008 at 11am
Cross-laying in the Garden of Remembrance. Wheel will be closed until 2.30pm.

Sunday 9 November 2008 at 11am
National Day of Remembrance in Garden of Remembrance. Wheel will be closed until 2.30pm.
