| The
Main Entrance is dominated by the Grand Staircase designed in Carrara,
Pavonazzo and Brescia Italian marbles. The main copper dome rises
to 53 metres in height, with a whispering gallery at its base. The
windows above show the signs of the zodiac alternating with a ship
and a bell taken from the coat-of-arms of the City. The area also
includes a Reception/Information desk and gift/souvenir shop
