Refubishment work
Belfast City Hall reopened to the public on Monday 5 October 2009 after a massive £11 million refurbishment project.
The iconic building had been temporarily closed since October 2007. Renovations to the building included:
- replacing heating, mechanical and electrical systems
- asbestos removal
- drainage improvements
- re-roofing
- installing computer network systems.
