Hannahstown action plan
Supported by Belfast City Council, a consultation has taken place with local residents and stakeholders of Hannahstown to produce a Strategic Vision and Action Plan to improve Hannahstown physically, socially and economically. This plan indicates a number of projects which once realised would deliver the four keys aims drawn up through consultation with the community.
The development of the plan is taking place as part of support offered to rural communities through Axis 3 of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.
Managed by Lagan Rural Partnership, the partnership will deliver funding for projects in eligible rural areas within Lisburn City, Castlereagh Borough and Belfast City Council areas.
Following completion of the village plan, villages will be able to apply, through a competitive process, to the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 to part fund activities identified as part of the village plan.
