Recycling service for commercial waste

We offer a range of commercial waste recycling services:

Dry recycling (for paper, card, plastic bottles and aluminium cans)
Glass recycling
Food waste composting

You can sign up for a seperate recycling collection service from us, or if we are already collect your general commercial waste, you can add one or more recycling collection services to your current contract . When you add a recycling service, we will provide you with the relevant bin.

If you decide to add food waste collection to your service, we will also give you food waste caddies for your workplace.

By recycling food, glass, paper, card and tin using these services, you should be able to reduce the amount of waste in your general waste bin which ends up in landfill, and possibly reduce the number of collections you need.

We can work with you to find the most cost effective recycling and general waste collection service for your business.

What can I put in my bin?

Dry recycling

Our dry recycling service is for paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, and aluminium cans only.

Glass recycling

If you opt for the glass recycling service we'll give you a bin for glass bottles and jars.

Food waste composting

When you add food waste composting to your contract we will give you large food waste bin, as well as food waste collection caddies and liners. You can keep the caddies in your workplace for collecting food, and put the liners in the larger bins when they are full.

You can put the following items in your food waste caddy:

all dairy products
meat and fish
raw and cooked fruit and vegetables
bread, cakes and pastries
rice, beans and pasta
teabags
coffee grounds
potato and vegetable peelings
any other leftover food.

You can also put takeaway pizza boxes (torn up) in your large food waste bin.

Contamination

If you put anything in a bin that is not specified in the list of acceptable materials we will not be able to collect it and will place a 'contamination' sticker on it. If this happens, please remove the offending material from the bin and leave it out for collection again on your next scheduled collection day.

Collection days and times

Bins are collected Monday to Friday – 7.30am to 3.30pm.

Bins must be left out for collection between these times to make sure they are collected. We can't give specific collection times for individual premises. We can only collect waste which has been placed inside your bin. We can't lift paper or cardboard placed beside the container.

Bins must be easily reached by our staff and it's up to you to provide proper storage for your containers. You should also return them to your storage area after collection. Please don't leave them on the footpath or in the street.

The following bins are available, depending on the amount of storage you need:

660 litre Euro recycling container

This bin is designed to fit through standard doorways and is ideal for large quantities of waste on premises with limited space.

Capacity - 660 litres
Length - 1.260 metres
Width - 0.73 metres
Height - 1.31 metres

1100 litre Euro recycling container

This container is ideal for large quantities of waste and is the equivalent to five standard household bins.

Capacity - 1100 litres
Length - 1.260 metres
Width - 0.99 metres
Height - 1.37 metres

240 litre recycling slim wheeled bin

These wheeled bins are ideal for offices and smaller businesses and can fit through standard doorways.
