Concorde Community Centre
Concorde Community Centre helps to serve the needs of the surrounding community.
A centre committee, made up of local people and members of the groups which use the centre, work with our staff to develop a varied programme which serves all residents.
The centre is also linked to the Ballysillan/Upper Ardoyne Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership.

Recent projects
Our recent projects include:- January 2010 - the centre committee and the local community launched the Concorde Centre Mosaic, designed by user groups from the centre, such as parents and toddlers, older people, Everton Day Centre and sports, cultural and recreational groups. It features unique symbols relevant to each group's activities and is displayed in the centre's foyer.
- February 2010 - young people from the centre took part in the Pix N Beatz project and creatively explored issues such as diversity, racism, sectarianism, homophobia and respect for those from other communities. Together with Wheelworks and Belfast Exposed, the project gave participants the chance to express themselves while learning new skills from professional artists, such as digital photography and sound recording.
- Teenagers from the centre were also involved in a youth drama group and worked with Artsekta, a cultural bonding group and an Indian youth organisation, to explore drama and photography and to write performances relevant to young people.
