Highfield Community Centre offers a wide variety of facilities for local residents and caters for a range of ages and activities.Opening hours
- Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm and 6.30pm to 10.30pm
- Friday - 9am to 4pm and 6.30pm to 10pm.
Room hire
Our meeting rooms are available for use by local community groups and statutory agencies.For more details, call Ann Vallely on 028 9039 1009.

Seasonal activities
We also run a number of seasonal projects including:Children and young people
- summer scheme
- Halloween events
- Easter activities
- Christmas events.
Senior citizens
- cross-community Christmas dinner
- cross-community tea dance
- cultural visits.
Adults
- annual St Patrick’s night cross-community social event.
Centre programme
We offer a range of classes and activities for all the community.Monday
- after-school club – 2pm to 4pm
- bingo – 7pm to 9pm
- youth computer class – 7pm to 9pm.
Tuesday
- mother and toddlers– 9.30am to 12.30pm
- senior citizens’ luncheon club – 1pm to 3pm
- after-school club – 2pm to 4.30pm
- kids’ club – 6.30pm to 8pm
- adult computer class – 7pm to 10pm
- youth club – 8pm to 10pm.
Wednesday
- Film Club – 2.30pm to 4pm
- youth group – 6.30pm to 9.30pm
- 50+ group – 7pm to 10pm.
Thursday
- mother and toddlers – 9.30am to 12.30pm
- adult education class – 7pm to 9.30pm.
Friday
- adult computer class – 10am to 1pm
- youth club – 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
This can be accessed any time during our usual opening hours.
