Knocknagoney Community Centre is located at the bottom of Knocknagoney Drive, adjacent to Knocknagoney Linear Park and is accessible by public transport. Our emphasis is based on a community development ethos, with local community involvement and participation paramount.

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and harmonious community facility for local residents in the Knocknagoney, Garnerville, Orchard and surrounding area, and to provide an opportunity for residents to become actively involved in local issues and developments.

We provide information about Belfast City Council services and signpost residents to other agencies if required.

We have a very active and dedicated volunteer team working with a range of age groups from children to senior citizens and are always keen to offer opportunities to new volunteers. Please contact us if you’re interested.

Knocknagoney Community Centre is a member of the Knocknagoney Area Forum (KAF), a partnership of local community, statutory, church organisations and residents. The forum welcomes residents to participate in four forum subgroups: Community Cohesion; Health and Well Being; Education and Youth and the Environment.

And we're working with council's Parks Department and local residents to develop Knocknagoney Linear Park as an intergenerational resource for the area. Funding has been approved to establish a Community Garden at the upper end of the park, so if you're an enthusiastic gardener, please get in touch!
