Sandy Row Community Centre

Sandy Row Community Centre serves the needs of the local community by providing a wide range of activities and facilities for all the family.

We are also used as a base for the Sandy Row Community Forum as well as for meetings, birthday parties and other functions.

Opening hours

We are open at the following times:

Monday - Thursday - 9am to 5pm and 7pm to 11pm
Friday - 9am to 4.30pm and 7pm to 10.30pm.

SureStart crèche - 10am to 12pm
health development project - 9am to 4pm
community centre crèche - 1pm to 3pm
homework project - 2.30pm to 5pm
ceramics - 8pm to 10pm
cheerleading - 7pm to 10pm
band practice - 7pm to 8pm
bingo - 8pm to 10pm.

Tuesday

SureStart crèche - 10am to 12pm
health development project - 9am to 4pm
community centre crèche - 1pm to 3pm
Northern Ireland Housing Executive sub-office - 10.30am to 12pm
Indian head massage - 6.30pm to 9pm
martial arts - 7pm to 8pm
cheerleading - 7pm to 10pm.

Wednesday

SureStart crèche - 10am to 12pm
health development project - 9am to 4pm
cheerleading - 7pm to 9pm
Indian head massage - 6.30pm to 9pm
Child Evangelism Christian Group - 7pm to 8pm
homework project and 11+ tuition -6.30pm to 9.30pm
YMCA Photography Club - 7.30pm to 10.30pm.

Thursday

SureStart crèche - 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm
health development project - 9am to 4pm
homework project - 2.30pm to 5pm
martial arts - 7pm to 8pm
cheerleading - 7pm to 9pm.

Friday

SureStart crèche - 10am to 12pm
health development project - 9am to 4pm
dance class - 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Seasonal events

We also offer a number of seasonal projects, including:

Sandy Row Festival (two weeks at the start of July)
summer scheme for children (operates for four weeks in July and August and is suitable for children aged eight to 11).
