Young People's Awards 2012
About the awards
Belfast Community Safety Partnership wants to recognise the contribution young people make to improving community safety in Belfast.Along with our partners, who include Belfast City Council Youth Forum, Belfast District Policing Partnership, the Thomas Devlin Trust, Linking Generations NI and the Youth Justice Agency of Northern Ireland, we want to hear about individuals or groups of young people who have made a difference while working with a community group or a voluntary organisation or through a school.
The Young People's Awards will be granted to the organisation that the young person has worked with, allowing that project to continue or develop. Any group with appropriate governance documents can receive an award.
This year's awards were presented to the winners at a ceremony hosted by Jim Eastwood in Belfast Waterfront on Thursday 15 March 2012.
