Winner: Voice of Young People in Care

These ten young people aged between 12 and 18, who have experience of life in care, worked with Wheelworks professional artists to create a short film entitled ‘Rejected’.

This film is a beautifully shot and thought provoking exploration of issues important to the young people including domestic violence, sectarianism, drugs and alcohol abuse, homophobia and war.

Those involved were responsible for all aspects of the content and production. They now plan to offer the film as a training and information resource throughout Northern Ireland.
