Community safety is about working together to reduce crime, the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour.
If your community or voluntary group is working on a project which supports our work you may be eligible for a small grant or either £1,000 or £5,000.
We will only fund projects that support our community safety key themes for 2010-2012. These include:
- reduce antisocial behaviour
- reduce alcohol and substance misuse which leads to antisocial behaviour
- reduce hate crime to improve community cohesion
- reduce the fear of crime.
Application dates 2011
The application period closed at 4pm on Friday 17 June 2011.The project must be completed by 23 March 2012 and we'll need your claim form by 4pm on 6 April 2012.
