We are a running a few environmental initiatives including the 2010 European Week for Waste Reduction and the ‘No Smoke without Litter’ initiative to help businesses reduce their waste and keep their premises free from smoking related litter.
South by Southwest 2011 and MIDEM
Want to find out about South by Southwest 2011 and MIDEM? On Monday 6 September, FFWD NI, the industry body for music, are hosting an event that will give businesses and the creative people of Northern Ireland the chance to find out about the opportunities that these events can offer.
The PIPS (Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide) project picked up a cheque of £1,360 donated by the businessmen and women and sponsors attending the Belfast Business ‘Oscars’ in Belfast City Hall on 29 April.
Wanted: Volunteers to go back to school Each year, hundreds of volunteers from local businesses go into classrooms to help young people develop leadership and communication skills. Local schools are looking for volunteers to deliver enterprise programmes for the 2010-2011 academic year.
