Conflict Transformation Project
What is the Conflict Transformation Project?
We, along with a range of partners, have created a Conflict Transformation Project as part of our ongoing Good Relations work. The project aims to build cross-agency dialogue on the principles of conflict transformation and develop a common agenda for the implementation of a Good Relations Plan in Belfast.
Under the project, there are three key strands of work which aim to build an integrated approach to the task of conflict transformation in Belfast, in line with the A Shared Future Policy: The project started in April 2007 and will be completed by the end of June 2008.
The project sits alongside a number of other complementary initiatives, including a community practitioners' forum, under the theme of Building Civil Society and Post Conflict Reconstruction.
Over the coming months, there will be a series of seminars, conferences and research reports on related themes.
