The Books of Remembrance are the only permanent form of memorial available at the City of Belfast Crematorium.
There are four books, one for each quarter of the year, with a separate page for each day.
The books are displayed in a purpose-built cabinet in a special room.
All our books are handmade and bound in gold-tooled vellum with blue and black calligraphy and gold initial letters.

Viewing the Books of Remembrance
Entries can be viewed during the crematorium's opening hours if the relevant book is available.Inscriptions
Inscriptions vary in length from two lines, up to eight lines.Floral motifs, badges, heraldic designs, animals and emblems can also be incorporated into entries of five lines or more.
