Schools Cross-Country event
Each year, we invite primary and secondary school pupils from across Belfast to take part in our Schools Cross-Country event. Not only does this popular event help children stay fit and healthy, but it also gives them the chance to try athletics and long distance running for themselves.
During the competition, pupils compete against each other to win the Schools Cross-Country cup, and the chance to go on and represent Belfast at the Northern Ireland Schools Cross-Country final.
The competition is open to primary school pupils, as well as secondary school pupils in years 8 and 9.
The 2012 heats will take place on the following dates:
- North Belfast - Grove Park, Thursday 23 February 2012
