Cathedral Quarter
The Cathedral Quarter was the birthplace of the city and has some of the oldest streets in Belfast such as Waring Street, Skipper Street and High Street.
In 1990, Cathedral Quarter was designated as a Conservation Area and has a number of listed structures and beautiful buildings.
A large number of arts and heritage organisations are based in the Cathedral Quarter as well as new hotels, bars and restaurants.
We produced a guide in May 2008 in association with the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society. This guide covers some of the more interesting buildings and streets in the Cathedral Quarter, as well as the architects who designed them.
