Urban Alchemy - The Transforming Power of Art and Architecture
A key conference for artists, architects, planners, developers, community leaders and policy makers.The launch of Northern Ireland's first cross-governmental policy on architecture, major changes to public administration and a £28 million investment in Belfast city centre will change the face of the city forever.
A one-day conference for artists, architects, developers and community leaders took place on 26 September 2006 to allow people to debate the issues.
The conference was delivered in partnership by Belfast City Council, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Royal Society of Ulster Architects in association with Perspective magazine.
