Destination Belfast

This is Belfast's moment. And to make sure that our tourism, culture and hospitality industry is making the most of the many opportunities on offer, we have developed a new programme called Destination Belfast.

Who is it for?

Destination Belfast is aimed at all sectors of the tourist industry, from festival organisers and tour guides to hotels and restaurants.

Aims

The programme aims to equip businesses with the knowledge and skills to provide our visitors with an even better authentic experience.

The programme will raise awareness of opportunities in 2013 and beyond. It will encourage the development of new packages and services, and reward innovation.

It will also help to enhance the competitiveness of local businesses.

The three strands of the programme are:

• Local Tourism Champions
• customer service
• sales growth.

We are working closely with Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau, Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Tourism Ireland and Belfast City Centre Management to ensure that we work collectively and add value to all participating businesses and organisations.
