Equality Screening
The Equality Commission recommends that public authorities publish a retrospective (backward looking) list of those policies which have been equality screened. This allows stakeholders or interested parties the opportunity to scrutinize the screening decisions. We undertake this exercise annually. We have produced a report of policies which have been equality screened during the period 1 January to 31 December 2009.

Welcome Guide
Our new Welcome Guide provides telephone numbers and contact details in a handy format to anyone who lives, works or visits the city. The pack is aimed especially at residents new to the city. In it, we've set out the services we provide, as well as giving useful numbers for other key services and agencies.
The Welcome Guide has been translated into a number of languages to meet the needs of our increasingly diverse population. It is also available in alternative formats; large print, Braille, on disk and audio cassette.
If you'd like a new guide, you can pick one up at any of our leisure centres, community centres or drop into the reception at City Hall.
