Vision

Our vision is to secure European finance, insight and relationships that enable us to enhance citizens' quality of life

Objectives

Our key objectives are to:

to maximise European Union (EU) funding
to interpret, influence and explain EU policy to a wider audience
to maximise particpation in EU networks
to promote Belfast in the EU
to promote EU affairs in the region

We also have a regional role to service five other councils of the Belfast Metropolitan Area Plan through a partnership known as COMET. This includes the borough councils of Carrickfergus, Castlereagh, North Down and Newtownabbey, and Lisburn City Council.
