Decade of Centenaries - marking the key historic events of 1915
Date: 3 Nov 2015 - 27 Nov 2015
Venue: Belfast City Hall and Ulster Hall
We are currently remembering a decade of key historical moments that shaped the history of Northern Ireland and Ireland a century ago. The period from 1912 to 1922 witnessed some dramatic changes. Now, one hundred years on, we are taking time to explore some of the significant events in more detail.
This season we will look at some key events that occurred in 1915. At that time, the first world war was raging across Europe, while at home the first seeds of revolution were beginning to be sewn.
We hope to to explore some of these challenging historic events under our theme of Shared History – Different Allegiances.
