2018 Deep River Rock Belfast City Marathon
Date: 7 May 2018
Time: 9am – 3pm
Venue: Starts at Belfast City Hall and finishes at Ormeau Park, Belfast
Sign up to the 2018 Deep River Rock Belfast City Marathon on Monday 7 May, and join 17,000 runners as they make their way through the city, completing the gruelling 26.2 mile course.
You’ll be able to enjoy some of the fantastic scenery of Belfast as you venture past some of our most iconic landmarks. And, with the route covering all areas of city, expect plenty of support as residents line the streets to cheer you on.
There are five schedule events that will be taking place on the day which include:
- the full marathon run (26.2 miles)
- a team relay
- 8 mile walk
- the fun run
- and the wheelchair race.

This year, Mencap Northern Ireland is once again the official charity partner of the 2018 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon. The money you raise will help Mencap provide its live changing services to local people all across Northern Ireland.
Entries for this event are now closed. Everyone is welcome to come out and cheer on the runners on the day. You could be joining approximately 50,000 supporters around Belfast this May Day.
