Date: 16 Sep 2018
Venue: Harty Room, Music Building, Queens University
The Belfast Ensemble, with their unique blend of music, performance and lighting, present a unique new work ‘in development’. Ophelia’s ‘mad songs’, Feste’s laments, Bottom’s risqué ballads, song forms a huge part of Shakespeare’s work.
A solo singer gives voice to an actor and we will let Shakespeare do the rest. This is music-theatre for the 21st century - a window into new approaches to musical performance and interpretation.
Tickets cost £10 (£8 concession).
