We’re delivering our entertainment programme to help animate the areas of the city centre most affected by the fire at Bank Buildings. This supports the #YourBelfast marketing campaign and its message that Belfast remains very much open for business.

Belfast City Centre will come alive with the sights, sounds and smells with as the city’s biggest celebration of cultural diversity comes to the city for a magical pop up festival across Donegall Place.

Join ArtsEkta, the producers of the Belfast Mela, for spectacular performances, a lively street procession, family workshops and mouth watering food bringing the world into the heart of our city.

This is a free event and no booking is required.

Mini Festival of Fools 

12noon-5.30pm

Join the fun as Belfast plays host to a bevvy of street performers with 15 minute performances taking place between 12noon and 5.30pm. Catch jugglers, unicyclists and those who love to act the fool in action at Royal Avenue, Fountain Street and Donegall Place. It's free entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, our roving characters will add some colour and cheer to even the greyest of days - stilt walkers and hula hoopers will liven up the streets so make sure to say hello.
