The walking tour will give an insight into the public houses, factories, houses and long-forgotten streets which inspired his writing. This event is part of the One City One Book Belfast 2012 initiative run by Arts Council NI. |

The British Wreck Commissioner's Inquiry sat from 2 May to 3 July 1912. It took testimony from 97 witnesses. | 5pm | Heineken Cup Final Live Screening | Odyssey | Free tickets - all allocated | The Odyssey Arena will be opening their doors to 4,000 lucky Ulster Rugby fans to screen the Heineken Cup Final.
Ulster Rugby has waited 13 years to reach this prestigious final again. The Odyssey Trust, in conjunction with Belfast City Council, has decided to turn the venue into our very own Twickenham and will be showing the final live in the Arena free of charge.
The game will be shown on a 60 by 20 foot screen equipped with the latest technology.
Doors to the Arena will open from 3.30pm with kick off at 5pm. All tickets now gone. |

The Gary Moore Exhibition | Oh Yeah Music Centre | Free | Gary Moore was an exceptional guitarist, songwriter and performer. His solo records are internationally admired, likewise his work with the likes of Thin Lizzy, Skid Row, The Travelling Wilburys, BB King and George Harrison.
Gary was born in Belfast on April 4, 1952. Sadly, he passed away on February 6, 2011. To mark what would have been his 60th birthday, the family of Gary Moore is helping with a unique exhibition of his personal effects. |
