The annual Fairtrade Belfast Awards recognise people, employers or businesses that have made an outstanding personal contribution to promoting the Fairtrade concept over the past year.
They give you the chance to recognise those working to overcome the trade issues faced by poorer producers and vote for your favourite Belfast Fairtrade organisations.
This year's winners are:
- Best Fairtrade independent retailer - Oxfam Ireland (Rosemary Street)
- Best Fairtrade supermarket - Northern Ireland Co-operative
- Best Fairtrade café - Common Grounds
- Best Fairtrade employer - Oxfam Ireland
- Best Fairtrade bar or restaurant - John Hewitt Bar, Donegall Street
- Outstanding individual contribution to Fairtrade - Margaret Carr, Fairtrade and Commercial Products Manager, Oxfam Ireland
