We aim to develop the city’s culture and to use it to regenerate the city. We provide funding support, advice and promotional support to arts organisations to help raise the profile of the arts and heritage in Belfast.
We completed a three year Culture and Arts Plan (2003-06) which highlights what we do. We also developed an Integrated Cultural Strategy for Belfast in conjunction with DCAL (Department for Culture, Arts and Leisure) and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
