A total of 353 migrant worker households were Northern Ireland Housing Executive tenants on 31 July 2008.
The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland and the Human Rights Commission of Northern Ireland have produced a report which states that only two per cent of social housing tenants were immigrants who had arrived in Northern Ireland between 2003 and 2008.
