When is my local swimming pool open?


Eight of our leisure centres offer swimming facilities suitable for adults and children.

Some of our pools also contain special features, such as slides, learner pools and a special Wavemaker machine (in Shankill Leisure Centre). If you want to learn how to swim, we run regular classes for adult beginners and more advanced learners. Our Make A Splash programme also teaches youngsters aged five and above a range of strokes and helps them build up their skills over different levels.

Lessons are available at centres throughout Belfast.
