Help and advice for funding applicants
If you or your group want to apply for one of our funding programmes, here are some helpful tips: - make sure your project is eligible by reading the guidance notes and selection criteria for your chosen grant scheme
- take time to plan and prepare your application
- include a short paragraph on your organisation's history
- supply as much relevant information as possible
- budget accurately - don't guess figures or inflate your estimated budget
- supply a detailed breakdown of all financial figures and estimates
- emphasise voluntary commitment to your project and the efforts you are making to support the project from sources other than grant assistance
- be clear about what you are planning to do and who your project will help
- seek advice from the appropriate funding officer before submitting your application - these details are included with the guidance notes for each grant scheme
- if you have received funding before, make sure you complete any necessary evaluation forms before you apply for further support.
