Peace III programme

We have been awarded £6.3 million under priority 1.1 of the EU Peace III Programme. This programme supports peace and reconciliation and runs from 2008 to 2010.

Good Relations Partnership

We have created a Good Relations Partnership whose members are responsible for managing and administering the funding.

Allocation of EU Peace III funds

We have set up a Good relations Partnership which will be responsible for allocating funding from the Peace Plan to a range of groups and organisations in Belfast.

The four main themes for funding are:

securing shared city space
transforming contested space
developing shared cultural space
building shared organisational space.

Funding allocations

The amount of money available to us to allocate through small grants is £850,000 which is fifteen percent of the total allocation of Peace III funds through the Peace III Programme.
