Encouraging a healthy lifestyle is an important part of our job. By helping people eat well and stay active, we can improve the quality of life of everyone living in Belfast.

Facilities

With ten leisure centres and more than 70 parks, playing fields and other sports facilities to choose from, we've got lots to help you stay in shape!

Our parks, located throughout Belfast, have plenty of playgrounds, walks, guided tours and events to keep you fit and healthy.

The park, which is due to open in early 2010, will provide facilities for skateboarding, parcours, in-line skating and BMXing.

Choose n Move artwork Choose n Move

This programme is designed especially for children aged four to 16 and encourages them to eat more fruit and vegetables and be more active.

We're looking for 25 families to take part in a new health and wellbeing project and work with a lifestyle mentor for up to one year.
